One of the things that happened was when the main character found out her boyfriend had lied to her and that he was making her to a whore because his friend Barell was a pimp. They locked her in with some other girls in Barells house, the difference between her and the other girls were that they seemed to accept it but she didn´t. One time she tried to call a friend from the telephone in the house and Barell saw her. She starts to struggle and Barell “friends” beat her unconscious. She wakes up in the basement to the house she was locked up in. She was in pain and bleeding everywhere. She decided to escape and she starts to looking for a way out from the basement. She hears voices upstairs and when they make a lot of noise she broke the window, but they heard her and she had to hurry out of the window and she injured her foot on a piece of glass. Some of the girls in the house were allowed to smoke outside and they threw here some clothes because she was naked, the men had taken of her clothes. I think it was to humiliate her. She was in a lot of pain but she made it to a hospital and the nightmare was over.
I think this incident was very uncomfortable and I can’t even imagine being in a situation like that. I know things like that happen to girls all over the world right now and it’s horrible. At the same time it is entertaining to read about but I find it a bit tough.
